Wendy went into education after his service to our country. A man of deep faith, Wendy served as minister, teacher and intramural sports coordinator at Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, IL, where a 5K run in his honor is held each spring.

He is remembered by many today for his years of substitute teaching in District 140.
